Wayne County residents aged 55 and older that have no co-pay coverage may qualify for assitance for medications that require a perscription for a mail-order prescription service that includes thousands of participating phamarcies around the United States. The program itself gives a 10-50% savings range.

In addition, all Wayne County residents now can take advantage of the Wayne County Prescription Program which provides a discount to all medications and can coincide with prescription drug coverage. The card is free and some find savings up to 75% on prescription medications with the average savings coming around 30-35%. The card has no income requirments and all residents are free to apply.
