Detroit Area Agency on Aging/ Mature Workers Employment & Training Program offers a on-the-job training program which provides a work experience for low-income adults aged 55 and older who live in the Detroit Metro area. The program was designed to develop and enhance skills to allow seniors an easy return to a work environment. 

Those who chose to participate will be placed into training for 20 to 25 hours per week on assignment and be paid at least minimum wage for their work. Some examples of benefits are job training, job-related counseling and assistance, job referral as well as placement.
